Is BARK! THE MUSICAL appropriate for my kids?

Here is the answer: I can't answer that question.  What I CAN do is let you in on why this could be a concern as a parent/guardian. 

According to the dogs, BARK! THE MUSICAL is totally G-rated. You see, the show is told through THEIR perspective - so a term like "bitch" means a female dog. Just like in the dictionary. Dogs all mark their territory, so when they do, they urinate - hence the song, "Whizzin' On Stuff." When male dogs get "fixed," they might lament on how they . . .  "lost their balls."

In doggie terms, these are all honest and valid . . . . Welcome to Doggie Day Care!
